1. Make that first impression count
When people first land on your website, make that first impression count. Make your homepage bight (but not too bright!) Colourful, and attractive so the visitor will want to read on, explore and come back to your site.
2. Make it easy to get in touch
Make it as easy as possible for people to contact you and leave feedback, especially if you're running a business site.
3. Make it easy to move around your site
If you're planning on a site with more than one page, put the navigation bar where it's easily seen, such as at the top or side of your site.
4. Make it easy on the eye.
Don't make your site too bright, or too colourful when there's text, because it can be hard to read the text if you have bright colours distracting you.
5. Spread the word!
Whether it's by business cards, flyers, social networks or word of mouth, let people know about your site!
